NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) apprehended a local man for domestic battery on Sunday, August 24.
Officers responded to a report of a person being battered at a residence on Gum Street. Following the investigation, officers took Scott Roth into custody.
NVPD arrested the suspect on the preliminary charges of:
- Felony Domestic Battery
- Criminal Confinement
- Interference with the Reporting of a Crime
Roth was taken to Jennings County Jail, where he awaits formal charges by the Jennings County Prosecutor’s Office.
This is a preliminary investigation. All subjects are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
