NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Dave O’Mara Contractor, Inc. will be completing the asphalt surface on State Road 7 from Decatur Mold to Broad Acres through Friday of this week.
There will be delays when traveling north or south in the area, and flaggers will control the traffic. The temporary signals will be turned off.
Workers are paving the northbound and southbound driving lanes on Wednesday. On Thursday, they will start paving the center lanes and turn lanes as time permits. On Friday, they will complete the turn lanes that were not done on Thursday and pave the approaches.
Orange Traffic drums will be used to keep traffic out of areas not paved or areas where traffic is not to enter. Temporary pavement markings will be placed as needed. Permanent striping and project closeout items will follow.
