COLUMBUS, Ind. – The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) presents Family and Friends on Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 512 7th St, in Columbus.
The NAMI Family and Friends seminar informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. Participants learn about diagnoses, treatment, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation, and NAMI resources. Seminar leaders have personal experience with mental health conditions in their families.
NAMI South Central is an affiliate of NAMI Indiana and has dedicated volunteer members and leaders who raise awareness and provide essential education, advocacy, and support group programs for people in the community living with mental illness and their loved ones.
