SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Jackson County Chamber will host its third annual First Responders Appreciation Breakfast on Friday, October 24. The event will begin at 8 a.m. at Pewter Hall in Brownstown.
Members of all Jackson County first responder departments (Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Corrections) are invited to attend this free event. Attendees are asked to register for the event by sending an email to info@jacksoncochamber.com.
The Chamber is inviting Jackson County first responder departments to apply for a matching grant from the Jackson County Chamber Foundation. The grant request should be for department training or equipment that will improve life safety service to county residents. Each request can be for up to $500 of matching funds. Completed applications are due by October 3. To apply or receive more information, please email info@jacksoncochamber.com.
Dan Robison, Director of the Jackson County Chamber, stated, “This event enables us to give back and show our respect and appreciation to the individuals who serve our community with great dedication. The addition of the Chamber Foundation grant will hopefully increase the level of service provided to the community through training and equipment improvements.”
