INDIANAPOLIS– The Indiana State Police (ISP) has taken a suspect into custody in connection with an incident where a motorcyclist fired upon a family on I-465.
On August 26, ISP detectives from the Indianapolis Post released a photograph of a person riding a motorcycle on I-465. He was suspected of shooting at another vehicle occupied by two adults, a juvenile, and an infant on the east side of Indianapolis.
After numerous community tips, the rider was identified. Investigators developed enough probable cause to request a search warrant for the suspect’s home. It was granted and subsequently served on Thursday, September 11.
During the search, detectives supposedly encountered several suspicious items that appeared to be incendiary devices. The ISP bomb squad responded to the scene and allegedly recovered several items commonly referred to as improvised explosive devices. Numerous narcotics were also reportedly found inside the residence.
Logan Quisenberry, 19, of Indianapolis, was arrested on several charges stemming from both the interstate shooting and the items recovered during the search.
He now faces the preliminary charges of:
- Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon
- Possession/Manufacturing a destructive device
- Dealing Narcotics (Level 2 Felony)
- Dealing Marijuana (Felony)
