COLUMBUS, Ind. – This Saturday, September 27, the City of Columbus welcomes thousands of residents, runners, and visitors to downtown for the 13th annual Mill Race Marathon in Columbus.
The event includes a 5K, a half-marathon, and a full marathon. The opening ceremony is at 7 a.m., and all races start around 7:30 a.m. at the Commons. Learn all about the races here.
Vehicular travel will be restricted in the downtown area. Many parts of downtown will be open to pedestrian traffic only due to the high volume of runners and walkers for the Mill Race Marathon. Public Safety Officials are asking for your patience and to be extra observant of runners.
If you live in this area, you are encouraged to review the map and find additional information at millracemarathon.com/information/. In some areas, it may be necessary to make alternate transportation arrangements.
