NINEVEH, Ind. – UPDATE: (Friday 9:45 a.m.): The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reported Friday that Stewart was found safe and is receiving medical care. Officials thanked the public for sharing.
Original: The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Steven “Dalton” Stewart, a 26-year-old white male, in the area of County Road 775S and Howard Prince Road, near Nineveh/Princes Lakes.
Stewart was last seen on foot in that area just after midnight on September 26. He was wearing khaki pants and a white t-shirt. He is about 6 feet tall, weighs 185 pounds, and has a scruffy beard. The missing man is not believed to be a danger to anyone, but will likely run from law enforcement and possibly others if he is confronted. He will need to be transported to a hospital for his safety when located.
Law enforcement and fire personnel have been searching for Steven “Dalton” Stewart using K9s, drones, and manpower since he was reported missing. If you see him, call 911. Do not approach him, as this may cause him to run.
