SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – The Indiana State Police (ISP)-Versailles Post executed a targeted enforcement patrol on Interstate 65 in Bartholomew and Jackson Counties on Friday, September 26.
State Troopers looked for motorists operating unsafely and/or committing criminal violations. ISP issued 35 traffic citations and 31 warnings. 28 of the issued citations were speed-related.
Additionally, they cited a driver for driving with a suspended license, located a wanted subject, and made arrests for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
During the targeted patrol on Friday, troopers also found themselves in a pursuit of a speeding driver of a stolen vehicle heading north on I-65 in Bartholomew County. The suspect, Draymond Prince, 18, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, eventually crashed in southern Shelby County and was taken into custody on numerous local charges.
