HAYDEN, Ind. – Multiple emergency crews, including the Lovett Township Volunteer Fire Department, responded to a fire at the historical Hayden Corner store on 470 South County Road 700W in North Vernon at approximately 530 p.m. on Thursday, October 2.
This historical building was formerly the Hayden Post Office and Grocery Store, opened in the 1800s.
The cause of the blaze or the extent of the damage is unknown at this time.
