BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – The Town of Bargesville has announced an alley paving project that will take place this week. For the first time since 1970, nine Bargersville alleys are getting a makeover.
At the request of citizens, the Bargersville Town Council reviewed the need for improvements and approved a contractor to complete the work. A spokesperson said, “We thank our community for bringing this forward and helping us make positive updates in our town.”
Work will begin on Wednesday, October 8 (weather permitting). Residents are asked not to park in the alleys when they are being repaved and to park on the street nearest their home until the work is complete.
Here is the paving project schedule:
- Wednesday – Alleys 2, 4, and 9
- Thursday – Alleys 3, 6, and 8
- Friday – Alleys 1, 5, and 7
