SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – A Flood Advisory is in effect for portions of central and south central Indiana, including the counties of Bartholomew, Jackson, Decatur, Shelby, Brown, and Monroe until 10 a.m. this morning.
At 3:52 a.m. on Tuesday, trained weather spotters reported flooding in the advisory area. Overflowing poor drainage areas could cause minor flooding. Between one and two inches of rain have fallen in some parts of the advisory area. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring, including minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some locations that might experience flooding include…Columbus, Greensburg, Nashville, Hope, Hartsville, Clifford, Taylorsville, Gnaw Bone, Newbern, Story, and Burney.
