SEYMOUR, Ind. – Due to the Federal Government shutdown, the Muscatatuck Wildlife Society must cancel this Saturday’s Log Cabin Day at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge in Seymour.
The shutdown has closed the Refuge Visitor Center and all related activities. Even if the government reopened before Saturday, the shutdown has prevented the Wildlife Society from preparing for the event, and thus, it has no choice but to cancel it.
The Muscatatuck Wildlife Society would like to thank everyone who planned to volunteer their time and talent to this annual fall event, and looks forward to seeing everyone next year.
