FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College Music Department presents a Faculty Recital on Tuesday, October 21, at 7 p.m.
The recital will take place in Custer Theatre, located on the first floor of Old Main.
The event is free and open to the public.
Faculty performing include:
- Eric DeForest, D.M.A. (Voice) – DeForest is an assistant professor of music and is the director of vocal and choral activities and co-chair of the music department
- Chang Shen, M.A. (Piano) – Shen, a resident of Franklin, serves as the piano accompanist for Franklin College
- Jonathan Rice, D.M.A. (Saxophone) – Rice is a lecturer of music theory and is a resident of Franklin
- Josh Torres, M.A. (Percussion) – Torres is a lecturer of music. He also serves as director of percussion at Center Grove High School
- Randy Greenwell, M.A. (Trumpet) – Greenwell is a professor of music and director of band and brass studio, and is also the executive director of the Indiana State School Music Association
- Devyn Kerr ’23, M.M. (Voice) – Kerr is a lecturer of music and began her classical music training six years ago at Franklin College
