NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) arrested a Madison man on felony charges of Child Molestation on Friday, October 10.
JCSO detectives began an investigation after being contacted by the family of a 12-year-old juvenile who claimed that a family friend, 21-year-old Kamron Scroggin allegedly abused them. Detective Allen Ritchie, with assistance from the Indiana Department of Child Services, arrested Kameron Scroggin, 21, of Madison on a Jennings County Circuit Court Arrest Warrant for Child Molestation.
Kameron Scroggin is being held in the Jennings County Jail on no bond on the following preliminary charges:
- Child Molesting- Level 3 Felony
- Sexual Misconduct with a Minor-Level 5
