SEYMOUR, Ind. – While conducting traffic enforcement on Saturday, October 11, Seymour Police Department (SPD) Officer Hammond pulled over a vehicle for a violation.
During the course of the stop, he developed reason to deploy his police dog partner, K9 Lewa, to sniff the car. The K9 indicated a positive alert.
As the investigation continued, officers allegedly located a large amount of suspected methamphetamine. The presumptive weight yielded 112 grams.
Subsequently, SPD arrested and charged the two occupants of the vehicle:
- Tony Perry – Dealing Methamphetamine (Level 2 felony)
- Rebecca Perry – Possession of Meth (Level 3 felony)
All suspects mentioned are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
