SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Jackson County Chamber presents its Education Summit on Monday, October 27, from 8 to 9 a.m., at the Copper Top. The conference will bring together educators, business leaders, and community members for a morning of collaboration and innovation.
The event will feature a roundtable discussion with Indiana Secretary of Education Dr. Katie Jenner, alongside local school superintendents. Together, they will explore critical questions shaping the future of education in Jackson County and beyond, including:
- What are our biggest opportunities for improving student outcomes?
- How can schools and businesses better collaborate?
- What supports do teachers need most?
“This summit is about creating meaningful conversations that lead to actionable solutions,” said Dan Robison, Chamber Executive Director. “By bringing together education leaders and the business community, we can better prepare students for success and strengthen our future workforce.”
The Education Summit, which includes breakfast, is $40 for Jackson County Chamber members and $50 for non-members. Community members, educators, and business leaders are encouraged to attend for the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and create change in education.
