COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus thanks the Columbus Police Department (CPD) for being part of the Foundation For Youth (FFY) Boys and Girls Club’s first Community Career Day last week. The kids learned about law enforcement work and loved climbing into the cop car, turning on the lights, and sounding the siren.
Community Career Day gives FFY kids and teens the opportunity to meet real professionals, learn about diverse career paths, and explore new possibilities. Each session features a different career spotlight, from first responders to artists, business owners, and community leaders.
Parents, guardians, and community members, the City of Columbus would love for you to get involved as well. Share what you do and help inspire the next generation of leaders. Email ridge@foundationforyouth.com to sign up.
