SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) apprehended a Scott County man on Friday, October 24, and charged him with Burglary and Theft.
Patrol officers and investigators with SPD responded to the 200 block of South Chestnut Street in Seymour regarding a possible break-in.
During the investigation, a description of the suspect was obtained. It was determined that the individual had also allegedly attempted to burglarize another residence in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street and taken items from a third location in the 400 block of West Tipton Street.
As detectives followed up on the information, the suspect was found in the 400 block of West Tipton Street and taken into custody.
Jeremy S. Gibson, age 34 of Austin, was arrested on two counts of Burglary (Level 5 Felonies) and two counts of Theft (Level 6 Felonies).
