GREENSBURG, Ind. – The Greenwood Police Department (GPD) and other law enforcement organizations took a wanted man into custody on Thursday, October 30.
United States Marshals assisted the GPD Tactical Response Team and the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department in the apprehension of a wanted person just before 3 p.m. This investigation started on Thursday at around 10 a.m.
Multiple locations were investigated for the whereabouts of Kevin J. Kilgore. The suspect was wanted for several outstanding warrants. He was also reportedly seen in the community armed with a firearm and had supposedly made threats towards law enforcement personnel.
Kilgore was located at a residence at 819 W. Seventh St., in Greensburg. He was taken into custody without further incident.
