FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin College will host its annual online fundraiser, #GRIZTuesday, on Tuesday, December 2, with all donations supporting its athletic programs.
“Six years ago, we reimagined Giving Tuesday as GRIZTuesday — a day devoted entirely to celebrating and strengthening Franklin College athletics,” said Nora Brems, Franklin College Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “Every gift made during this 24-hour event directly fuels the success of our student-athletes and the programs that inspire our Grizzly pride.”
“GRIZTuesday is the most impactful day of the year for our athletic programs and the student-athletes who represent Franklin College,” said Franklin College Vice President Andrew A. Hendricks. “Every contribution helps provide essential equipment, uniforms, and resources that elevate the student-athlete experience.”
The college will utilize social media, particularly Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, to promote the 24-hour fundraising effort, as well as email and other college-owned communication channels.
The website link for giving will be released on the college’s social media platforms at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2. Donors may direct their gift to their favorite team or the general athletic fund. The giving website will display a real-time running tally of the number of donors and dollars raised for each team, as well as an overall total.
