GREENWOOD, Ind.–After a caller reported a black sport-utility vehicle was driving erratically through Greenwood on Monday morning, a deputy with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office soon intercepted it and pulled it over. When speaking with the driver, the officer says he noted a heavy odor of marijuana coming from inside the cabin of the SUV. The driver, Anthony Nickle, 35, of Indianapolis, was ordered out of the auto and supposedly indicated he had marijuana concealed in the center console.
As other deputies arrived, a further search of the vehicle allegedly turned up drug paraphernalia which contained methamphetamine residue. While patting down the suspect during his arrest, law enforcement says a flashlight containing two baggies of meth was found in his pocket.
Nickle was transported to Johnson County Jail and charged with possession of cannabis, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of paraphernalia.
