SHELBY COUNTY — The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department (SCSD) is investigating after the body of a man was found in a brushy area Wednesday afternoon.
It was found by a National Guard helicopter that was conducting exercises in the 6900 block of County Road 250E, according to SCSD spokesman Major Chris Holder. The body was off the roadway in a brushy area.
Authorities currently do not know the cause of the man’s death. If anyone thinks they may have any information, contact Capt. Darren Chandler of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Dept. at 317-398-6661.
