SEYMOUR, Ind. – A Trinity Lutheran High School student was arrested Wednesday morning after an alleged threat on social media.
The 15-year-old female threatened violence at the school against classmates, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Carothers said.
Officers arrested the girl at school and said no weapons or guns were found.
“Whether the threat was reliable or not, she was arrested and brought to the sheriff’s department,” Carothers said.
The school was placed on a soft lockdown as police confirm there is no active threat at the school.
