COLUMBUS, Ind. – A Columbus woman and her son were both taken into custody after Columbus Police Department officers confirmed warrants for their arrest Monday evening. According to a press release, CPD officers responded to the 100 block of Carrie Lane where they located Kyle Lewis, 21, who had been reported as a missing person. A Johnson County warrant for Lewis’ arrest for dealing methamphetamine was confirmed and he was taken into custody. Officers also arrested Lewis’ mother, Heather Payne, 40, after they determined she had a body attachment warrant in Bartholomew County.
