COLUMBUS, Ind. — A local man who was shot outside a Pinebrooke Court apartment during an alleged robbery last week has died, the Columbus Police Department (CPD) said Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on October 11, at around 10:30 p.m., in the 1900 block of Pinebrooke Court.
When officers arrived, they located Bryan Streeval, 36, who had suffered a gunshot wound. He was found unresponsive behind the residence.
CPD officers provided medical care to Streeval until paramedics arrived. He was later transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where he succumbed early Sunday morning. The investigation into the shooting/robbery is ongoing.
