GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Greenwood mayor’s office reminds residents that leaf pickup starts today, Monday, October 23, and continues through Friday, December 1.
To ensure leaves are properly disposed of, rake leaves to the edge of the curb. Do not block leaf piles with vehicles and separate leaves from tree limbs.

The City of Greenwood provides this six-week seasonal leaf removal service each autumn.
To ensure the leaf pickup process takes place efficiently and effectively, residents are asked to consider and comply with the following comprehensive instructions and guidelines:
- Rake leaves to the edge of the curb or yard for proper pickup
- Bagged leaves at curbside will NOT be picked up
- Do not put leaf piles in the street as this causes stormwater drainage problems
- Leaf and tree limb piles need to be separated
- Grass clippings, flowers, or garden plants are not part of this service
- Do not block leaf piles with vehicles
- You may also take leaves to the Waste Management Facility, 1244 West Fry Rd.
- Normal leaf pickup is once every 10-15 business days
