SEYMOUR, Ind.—A Jackson County man is behind bars after an investigation by the Indiana State Police. ISP public information officer Sgt. Stephen Wheeles says detectives were investigating a reported case of child molestation that led them to a home, where Reynaldo Reyes-Perdomo, 30, of Seymour was found. He was apprehended Monday without incident, transported to Jackson County Jail, and booked for child molestation.
That charge came after investigators determined that Reyes-Perdomo had allegedly engaged in sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl on two different occasions. One of the incidents occurred in rural Jackson County near State Road 11 and Interstate 65, and the other took place at a Seymour residence.
