FRANKLIN, Ind. – Johnson County Animal Control has partnered with Johnson County Senior Services for a pet food drive to gather pet food to distribute to the seniors of Johnson County who need assistance feeding their cats and dogs.
Animal Control Appreciation Week is April 14-20. Deputy Director of Johnson County Animal Control Mike Clark says they are trying to amass 2,000 pounds of pet food this week to donate to Johnson County seniors.
He added that Johnson County Animal Control is in desperate need and goes through dog and cat food donations quickly.
You may donate in person at Johnson County Senior Services, 36 W. County Road 600N, in Whiteland, or the Johnson County Animal Shelter, 2160 Graham Rd., in Franklin, in the designated tote at each location. You can also purchase items online from the Amazon PAWSitivity Wish List.
