FRANKLIN, Ind – “Authors at JCPL”, the Johnson County Public Library (JCPL) and JCPL Foundation series bringing bestselling authors to Franklin, starts its 2025 season off strong with C.J. Box on Thursday, February 27 at the Historic Artcraft Theatre.
Box, a native of Wyoming, is a #1 New York Times bestselling author of 30 novels. He has won multiple awards, including the Edgar Alan Poe Award for Best Novel (“Blue Heaven”, 2009), and most recently the 2016 Western Heritage Award for Literature.
His most notable work is the Joe Pickett series, of which the 24th novel was released in February 2024. He is also the executive producer for ABC’s Big Sky and Spectrum Original’s Joe Pickett, a TV series based on his novels. The first 100 JCPL cardholders at the Feb. 27 event will receive a copy of “Battle Mountain,” the 25th installment of the Joe Pickett series.
You do not need a library card to attend. Anyone can reserve general admission tickets here.
Copies of Box’s books will be available for purchase from Wild Geese Bookshop.
