NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) went to the 5300 block of N. County Road 750E Thursday afternoon to serve Jason Daugherty of Butlerville. He was wanted on Felony warrants in Jennings County and a Ripley County warrant.
Deputies tried to make contact with the suspect, however, he allegedly refused to come to the door. After a two-hour standoff, the Jennings County S.W.A.T. team made entry into the residence and Daugherty was taken into custody with an additional charge of Resisting Law Enforcement.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division and State Police assisted JCSO.
