U.S. 31 South water main break results in Boil Water Advisory

COLUMBUS, Ind. – Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) says another utility company, digging on E. County Road 100S near Dunlap and Company on US 31 South, has damaged a water main.

Because of the break, EWBC issued a Boli Water Advisory for C.R. 100S, on the west side of South US 31, and also for customers on S. County Road 300E. The advisory is in effect until noon on Wednesday, February 12.

Any water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled for at least five minutes and then cooled before consumption.
