SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says a Wind Advisory is in effect for Bartholomew, Johnson, Jackson, Jennings, Shelby, Decatur, and Brown Counties for Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
South-Central Indiana will experience strong southwest winds from 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.
The gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Motorists are advised to use extra caution.
