FRANKLIN, Ind. – Next month, the Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) will continue its free 2025 Elevate Impact nonprofit training series to encourage progress and community transformation.
The second program in the four-part series is “The Power of Narrative: Storytelling for Impact.” Speaker Morgan Carpenter will present the session on June 4, from 8:30 to 11 a.m., at the Compass Park Event Center
Effective storytelling in grant writing goes beyond listing needs and statistics; it highlights the resilience, successes, and impact of the people and communities you serve.
In this workshop, you will learn how to craft narratives that engage, persuade, and inspire action by balancing meaningful data with real client stories. You’ll also explore how asset-framing and empowering language can strengthen your proposals, ensuring that your storytelling reflects dignity, possibility, and impact.

The JCCF series will continue in September and December.
