EDINBURGH, Ind. – Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) State EMS Director Kraig Kinney awarded the State of EMS Directors Award to Edinburgh Fire and Rescue (EFD) on Thursday for 51 years of ambulance service in Johnson County.
The State of EMS Director’s Award is presented to either non-certified, EMS-certified, or EMS-licensed personnel who have made significant positive contributions in the EMS field.
During the acceptance ceremony, Edinburgh Fire and Rescue thanked Johnson Memorial Health for its years of support, 1-800-BOARDUP for donating food/drinks, and Pastor Corey Davis of Edinburgh Church of the Nazarene.
Edinburgh Fire and Rescue also acknowledged its current employees for their dedication to the Edinburgh Fire Department and the Town of Edinburgh.
