COLUMBUS, Ind. – Time is running out to nominate someone for the 2025 Jack Cramer Ideals of Athletic Competition Award, sponsored by the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department. The honor is in memory of Jack Cramer, a former local athlete who was 33 years old when he died in 1978.
This award is presented annually to a male and a female. Senior high school athletes, adult-aged athletes, coaches, or sports organizers are eligible. All nominees must live or work in Bartholomew County.
Sarah Frasier was the recipient in the female category, and Steve Souder in the male category in 2024.
