COLUMBUS, Ind. — Indiana University Columbus is hosting walk-in hours July 14 to 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for admitted and prospective students to meet individually with admissions counselors who will help with their enrollment checklist.
At the week-long open house, staff will assist those considering transferring to IU Columbus, admitted freshmen, high school students planning to attend, and working adults who are thinking about returning to college.
The theme of the week is “It’s in the Bag!” and every attendee will receive an IU Columbus tote bag. Students and families can learn about undergraduate and graduate programs, get hands-on assistance with the application process, take a campus tour, and have their questions answered. A Spanish-speaking counselor and materials in Spanish are also available upon request.
Currently, IU Columbus does not have an application fee.
“There’s still time to start in the fall 2025 semester. We have a team to help you apply and register for classes,” explained Jayne Morris, IU Columbus Assistant Director of Enrollment Management.
Participants should meet at the Admissions Office, inside Door 3 at the Campus Center Building, 4601 Central Ave., in Columbus. If these dates/times aren’t convenient, prospective students can always schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor. Virtual and in-person meetings are available.
