INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation will hold two public hearings to discuss widening Interstate 65 in Bartholomew and Jackson Counties. The 143 million dollar project will widen I-65 to six lanes between Seymour and Columbus, modernize the same stretch of road, and rehabilitate seven overpass bridges.
The first public hearing will be held June 7 at Columbus City Hall, followed by a meeting on June 8 in the Brownstown Town Hall. Both forums will begin at 6 p.m.
