GREENWOOD, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Milestone Contractors, L.P., is continuing work on a bridge deck overlay project on U.S. 31 over Pleasant Run Creek located between Orchard Lane and West Main Street in Greenwood.
On or after Thursday, August 14, a new traffic pattern will be used on U.S. 31 over Pleasant Run Creek. Northbound and southbound U.S. 31 will be reduced to two lanes in each direction using temporary crossovers while work is in progress.
Overall work on U.S. 31 over Pleasant Run Creek should be complete in mid-November, weather permitting. INDOT will provide updates as work progresses.
Drivers should slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
