NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) arrested three people at Country Squire Lakes after obtaining an arrest warrant on Wednesday, August 27.
Deputies entered an address on Ascot Court to serve a Jennings County Circuit Court arrest warrant. They located the male subject, identified as Dustin Patterson, 39, of North Vernon, hiding inside a closet. Two more individuals, Eric Armstrong (homeowner), and Wendy Forwalt (a resident at the address) were found inside and detained.
During a search of the home, JCSO deputies allegedly discovered over 70 Fentanyl filled capsules, Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, packaging material, and digital scales.
The suspects were transported to the Jennings County Jail, and all three were remanded on the same preliminary charges.
Eric Armstrong, Wendy Forwalt, and Dustin Patterson were booked for:
- Dealing in a Narcotic Drug (Level 2 Felony)
- Possession of a Narcotic Drug over 28 Grams (Level 3 Felony)
- Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 Felony)
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony)
- Possession of Paraphernalia (C Misdemeanor)
