COLUMBUS, Ind. – Families who need help with gifts over the holidays can call United Way of Bartholomew County’s United We Help Line starting on Oct. 1.
Starting next month, families can call the Help Line Monday through Friday at 812-375-2216.
The Help Line registers families and children for holiday gift assistance for the following programs in Bartholomew County.
- Community Center of Hope Angel Tree
- Fireman’s Cheer Fund
- Shop With A Cop
- St. Bartholomew Giving Tree
- Toys for Tots
- Christmas with a Veteran
Children may be registered for one (1) gift program only. The holiday assistance program runs through Dec. 5.
Volunteers are still needed to help with registration. Those who may be interested will work two-hour shifts and can volunteer as much or as little as they’d like. You can register to volunteer by going to uwbarthco.galaxydigital.com/.
Last year, holiday assistance programs helped 3,358 children in Bartholomew County.
