INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A Missouri woman led police on a 30-mile chase last Sunday. The pursuit began in Indianapolis when an Indiana State Police Officer saw a car pass another on the right shoulder. According to Indiana State Police, Shawna Stacy, 44, fled south from the officer at over 100 mph. The officer ran the car’s plates and discovered it had been reported stolen. Stacy was eventually stopped and taken into custody near Whiteland after hitting stop sticks. She has been preliminarily charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, refusal to identify, and reckless driving.
