GREENWOOD, Ind.— One person was injured in an accident in White River Township on Thursday afternoon. According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, 25-year-old Allison Riley of Indianapolis was injured at the intersection of Leisure Lane and Fairview Road when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Emelia Stephens, 20, of Martinsville. Deputies determined that Stephens failed to notice a stop sign and entered the intersection hitting Riley. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Riley suffered minor injuries, while Stephens was unhurt.
