GREENWOOD, Ind. — Monday afternoon saw a Brooklyn, Indiana man arrested for auto theft. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department says that 23-year-old Dakota Crowe was arrested when an officer checked Crowe’s license plate against BMV records, which returned a hit that the vehicle had been reported stolen. In addition to racking up an auto theft charge, Crowe also reportedly had an unlicensed handgun in the car and he is wanted in Marion County on a failure-to-appear warrant.
