FRANKLIN, Ind. — A Franklin man is in Johnson County Jail after he ran off the road into a cornfield. Authorities at the Johnson County Sheriffs Department say Hunter Welberry, 21, rolled his car off of County Road 600E into a cornfield shortly after midnight on Thursday morning. Officers say Welberry failed the field sobriety test they gave him and he was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Welberry did not sustain any injuries.
