WHITELAND, Ind. — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an attempted burglary of the Hoosier Jewelry store at 1745E 500N in Whiteland.
Wednesday surveillance video shows a male suspect, approximately six feet tall, wearing a gray hooded jacket and blue jeans broke the front door glass with a large rock around 2:15 a.m. The suspect made several attempts to gain entrance before fleeing the parking lot in an older model silver Blazer with a red front fender. Nothing was reported missing from the store.
