FRANKLIN, Ind. — An intoxicated Plainfield woman was arrested in Johnson County over the weekend while driving under the influence at almost three times the legal limit.
Emilia Stephens, 26, of Plainfield, was southbound on Interstate 65 near Franklin, driving off the roadway and crossing the centerline when she was pulled over around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
During the investigation, Stephens told police she thought she was in the Plainfield area and was going home. She failed field sobriety tests and later tested at .22 percent blood alcohol content. She was taken to the Johnson County Jail.
