GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) has chosen Krista Nelson, principal of Center Grove Elementary School, as its 2019 District 9 Elementary Principal of the Year. Nelson has led Center Grove Elementary since January 2017.
During her tenure, the Indiana Department of Education has awarded Center Grove Elementary with two “A” Accountability grades.
“Mrs. Nelson is an amazing school principal who has helped her school achieve great progress in their performance.” said superintendent Dr. Rich Arkanoff.
She will be recognized later this year, on November 24, as part of the 2019 Principals of the Year Recognition Celebration during the IASP’s annual Fall Professional Conference.
