FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Community Foundation launched its countywide mural program in 2016 with the intent of giving Johnson County a boost in public art. The “Color the Community” program is continuing this year with two more murals coming to Franklin and Trafalgar.
Franklin’s new mural will be at Richards Brick Oven Pizza along Main Street, and the community painting day is this Saturday, June 29. Local residents are invited to help paint the mural that was designed by artist Shannon McKeon.
No artistic talent is necessary, and painting supplies and refreshments will be provided.
