COLUMBUS, Ind. – It was a busy night considering ordinance variances for the Columbus Board of Zoning Appeals on Tuesday.
For Professional Concrete, located at the intersection of State Roads 9 and 46, the board okayed a gravel parking lot, straight, rather than 90-degree, light fixtures, and foregoing parking-lot wheel stops.
McAllister’s Rentals, on State Street, was granted approval of a plan for planting trees to satisfy the relevant buffer requirement.
P. B. and J. Enterprises received approval for front and side setbacks and driveway separation less than required by the relevant ordinance at its Orinoco Avenue property.
The board said yes to Impact Forge’s request to erect an 8-foot fence along the front of its Norcross Drive campus even though the height exceeds the 42-inch limit specified by the relevant ordinance.
