HOPE, Ind. – The town of Hope is getting ready to observe its 11th annual Old Fashioned Independence Day celebration at their Town Square later today, June 28.
The family-friendly event starts at 5 p.m. with events going on all evening until the fireworks shoot off around 10 p.m. Amidst the events there will be plenty of food options as the Hartsville Volunteer Fire Department is having a fish fry on the square, and the Hope Baptist Church is offering hot dogs and sloppy Joes.
The Banister Family Band will then take the stage at 7 p.m., and prep the crowd for the fireworks that will directly follow the performance. There is no cost to attend.
